Kcca Launches state of the art Hybrid Solar system at Mulago School of the deaf.

Kampala City council authority (KCCA) has today 23rd March 2023 launched a state-of-the-art Hybrid Solar system at Mulago School of the deaf. 

The system was financed by a donation from the European Union and Green Energy. 

Launching the system, the Executive Director was in the company of Mayor Nakawa, Hon Paul Mugambe, and Hon Olive Namazzi, the KCCA Executive Secretary in charge of Education and Public Health

ED, Kisaka said that KCCA is championing the Smart City Agenda with emphasis on three things;  leveraging the use of Technology in delivering services, improving infrastructure, and promoting People's well-being. 

She said KCCA is going to work on getting solar power into other schools in the city. 

The management of the Mulago school of the deaf appreciated the work of KCCA which has involved improvements in the buildings, the walkways, and landscaping.
