The Nnaabagereka of Buganda, Sylvia Nagginda Luswata, yesterday 23rd March 2023, launched her autobiography,- “The Nnaabagereka Queen Sylvia Nagginda Luswata Book”
This event was held at the Sheraton Hotel in Kampala and was graced by a good number of political wings and government officials, including the Natalie E. Brown, the ambassador of United states of America to Uganda.
The Minister of Works and Transport, Gen Katumba Wamala, and State Minister for Higher Education, Mr Chrysostom Muyingo, Kampala Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago, and Kampala Capital City Council Authority executive director Dorothy Kisaka, among others, also attended the event.
surprisingly, the Kabaka of Buganda and the Katikkiro of Buganda, Charles Peter Mayiga did not grace this function which has left the public wondering.
though insides sources indicate that the Kabaka of Buganda is currently sick and and o n treatment and was unable to be part of this event.
The Mengo big wing also shunned the event, in that no representative from mengo gave any speech or remarks from Bulange.
Dignitaries from Buganda Kingdom included; Kabaka’s uncle, Ssaabaganzi Emmanuel Ssekitoleko, the Ssaabalangira Godfrey Musanje, Owekitiibwa Joyce Nnabbosa Ssebugwaawo, also the paternal aunt of the Nnaabagereka, Omutaka Namwama, Owekitiibwa Christine Mugerwa Kasule, and Owekitiibwa Kabuuza Mukasa, among others.
The launch of the book was live on next media platforms, which has left many asking why many questions.
Buganda Kigdom has its own media houses including: CBS radio and BBS Telefayina ya Buganda but to our observation non of them aired the Nabagereka book launch story.
