The Minister of Kampala, Hajjat Minsa Kabanda together with KCCA Executive Director, Dr. Kisaka Dorothy have today 26th April 2023, embarked on conducting a tour of the ongoing infrastructure improvement works in Kampala city.
The Inspection was conducted along Mukwano Road, Press Road, Nsambya Estate Road, Kabega Road & Lubiri Ring Road.
According to Ed Kisaka, this is one of the many tours that will be conducted routinely for quality assessment till when works are 100% done.
Different activities are being done on the above-listed roads, i.e. rehabilitation, maintenance, construction of pavements, re-constructions, pothole refilling and other road works.
Recently, several Ugandans hit social media demonstrating excess potholes on different Kampala city roads, this forced the President of Uganda, HE Yoweri Kuguta Museveni to to direct finance ministry to avail KCCA with 6 billion to fix the mess.
