Kampala City is spread out in five divisions; Nakawa, Makindye, Lubaga, Kawempe, and Central Division.

The city is divided into ninety nine Parishes which are the focus centers of service delivery, under the Parish Development Model. Kampala hosts approximately 1.5 million residents.
