MBALE: Nabuyonga primary School teacher arrested for defiling two pupils.

 

A science teacher identified as Joel Situma, 26,  incharge of upper Primary at Nabuyonga Primary School , Industrial Division, Mbale City has been arrested for allegedly defiling two of his pupils, one aged 12 years. 

According to Rogers Taitika, the Elgon Region Police Spokesperson, the suspect was picked by police after Juliet Namono, the victim’s mother, reported to police.

  “According to Namono, Situma has been convincing one of the minors several times to report to school at 5 am every morning for coaching and she believes he took advantage of that to defile her daughter.

Another parent name withheld claims the teacher impregnated her daughter and convinced her to do an abortion.

The suspect is currently at mbale Central police and will be taken to court for charges.
