"Minister Kitutu is my sister, I couldn't let her rot in Jail" - Minister Gidudu as he mourned his Auntie.



The minister of state of the elderly, Hon. Gidudu Mafabi has reveled why he he stood as surety in the Anti-Corruption court, for the embattled Karamoja minister Mary Gorreti Kitutu.


While speaking to mourners at the burial of late Buwala Philomena Musani, the minister's Auntie in Nyondo, Mbale district, Minister Gidudu told mourners to stand in solidarity with whom she referred to as there own .

"As a Mumasaba, I had to stand in for my own sister Kitutu to see that she is out of jail, why only her in jail yet many people shared the iron sheets. Many officials in this Government have swaddled more than what kitutu did. why crucify her" - said minister Gidudu.


He further called upon all Bgisu to protect the minister and request president Yoweri Kaguta Museveni to forgive her because she is not the first person to get involved in corruption saga.


After adding minister Gidudu among her surety, minister  Mary Goretti Kitutu, was on Friday 14th, granted a UGX 10 million cash bail and UGX 200 million non-cash bail for the sureties by the Anti-Corruption Court.
