WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW.

While at the anti corruption court in kololo, the court judge, Esther Assimwe revealed that according to records, on the 20th of June 2022, minister Nandutu made a request in the office of prime minister to issue her 2,000 Iron sheets which was supposed to go to karamoja region.

Being the state minister for Karamoja region, OPM approved her request and ordered her to collect 2,000 pieaces of iron sheets from  OPM stores in Namanve.

Minister Nandutu collected the 2,000 iron sheets at 10pm but she rather diverted them to her farms, the judge further confirmed  that 700 pieces of iron sheets were delivered at Nandutu's farm in Wakiso and the rest was taken to her other farm located in Nantabulirilwa in Mukono municipality.

According to records, the 2,000 pieces of Iron sheets collected by Minister Nandut was supposed to benefit the "Karicunas" in Karamoja sub region.

This clearly shows that the iron sheets received by Minister Nandu was not from those requested by Minister Kitutu.
