Speaker Among Storms CPS, Bails out all the 11 Arrested opposition Women MP's.

The speaker of parliament, Rt. Hon Anitah Among has left Kampala Central Police Station with a group of female MPs who were brutally arrested this morning as they attempted to march to Ministry of Internal Affairs to deliver a petition against @PoliceUg and other security agencies which have been violently frustrating their activities, including rallies.

The speaker in company with the opposition chief whip, John Baptist Nambeshe stormed Police and ordered for the immediate release of the legislators.

Minister of State for Internal Affairs, David Muhoozi has told plenary that his ministry passed the instruction to have the 11 MPs released unconditionally, before adding that their brutal arrest was unwarranted.
