The National Resistance Movement (NRM) top leadership has teamed up to win the Bukedea LCV By-Election.
During the endorsement of the NRM flag bearer yesterday 16th May 2023 at St. Theresa Secondary School, Okunguro in Bukedea town council, the nrm national mobilize, Hon. Rosemary Sseninde assured the public that nrm is now together as a solid to win this forthcoming By-election.
"This is a milestone seeing NRM together, we lost in the just concluded Serere By-election where an independent candidate won because we were divided as a party."- Said Sseninde.
Sseninde further said That she was extremely happy as a national mobilize seeing Ali-Hajji Moses Kigongo, Rose Namayanja, Captain mike mukula, Tanga Odoi, and many others supporting the flag bearer.
Recently, NRM's top leadership had split most especially during the Serere By-election where several leaders supported the independent candidate instead of the flag bearer.
"NRM has been winning all by-elections except for Serere where we had divisions within the party. I, therefore urge us to be united.
Hon Sseninde: "Let me also use this opportunity to send our sincere condolences for the death of our leader, Mr. Moses Olemukan, We are here to replace the position that fell vacant as a result of his demise"
Sseninde requested unity in Bukedea.
