A six months pregnant mother as well as a vender in Kcca City abattoir was yesterday 6th May 2023, rushed to Bugolobi Medical Center after being beaten by goons, suspected to be hired by a one Eian Gumisiriza.
It is alleged that Florence (Victim) was attacked in the morning in the City abattoir commonly known as "lufula" by men armed with sticks and pangas. She was then thumped and abandoned near her work place.
According to eye wittiness, they suspect that the goons were hired by a one Eian Gumisiriza who was recently expelled from the abattoir for continuously collecting tax from venders, yet president Yoweri Kaguta Museveni had suspended all KCCA market Tax collection (Empooza).
It is also alleged that Florence was thumped by the unknown goons for being on the frontline of outing Eian Gumisiriza the tax collector.
"Florence was one of the iron ladies who helped us speak before media and exposed Eian who claimed to be a state house official and freely collected money from venders, yet museven said we should not pay any "mpoonza" - said one of the venders name withheld.
Currently Florence has been hospitalised at Bugolobi Medical center in Kmpala.
