The first lady of Uganda as well as the minister od Education and sports, Hon Janet Kataha Museveni yesterday 11th May 2023, graced Women's day celebrations in Rubaga Division, Kampala.
The first lad hailed the women's investments through their saving schemes, locally known as (SACCOS).
The first lady who was speaking as the guest of honor at the function in Kampala, Rubaga Division at Wankulukuku play grounds urged Women to unite in SACCO in order to benefit from government programmes.
First lady, Janet Museveni surprised the women with one hundred million shillings (100) as her contribution toward the SACCO.
The event hosted by the speaker of Rubaga Division, Hon Musa Mbazira, was attended by the Minister of Kampala Hajjati Minsa Kabanda, and the KCCA Executive Dr. Director Dorothy Kisaka.
