"M7 Can Not Fire Me - He Still Needs Me As Karamoja Affair Minister" - Embattled Minister Kitutu Tells Off Her Critics.

While giving her speech during the International Women's Day celebrations in Namisindwa District recently, embattled minister of Karamoja affairs, Hon Mary Gorreti Kitutu assured the congregation that she is still president Yoweri Kaguta Museveni's favorite, therefore, the president wouldn't even think of laying her off from her ministerial job as her enemies think.

"I am not the ordinary person as many think most especially those fighting me, I am in direct talks with President Museveni who appointed me as a minister and that's why you can see me here with my security, ministry vehicle" - Kitutu.

She further assured the people of Namisindwa that the Iron Sheets saga was just a setup and propaganda which was framed by her "enemies".

"I never stole Karamoja iron sheets as they allege, the mafia tried its best to brand me a thief, they spread a lot of propaganda around to see my name spoiled but I want to assure you that the president loves me, that's why I am still in office" - Kitutu.

The minister also proclaimed to be a born of Namisindwa and assured them to watch the space come 2026.

"I was baptised in Magale and confirmed at Situmi catholic church, I just want you to watch the space, all those detractors will continue to sink"- Kitutu.

Kitutu kept speaking in parables but according to records, she has always had battles with several ministers including the late Keith Muhakanizi who was the permanent secretary in OPM. "The Bible says those who dig a hole for others will first fall in that hole before their victims, therefore, can tell you that those who have dug and continue to dig that hole for my destruction will fall in that hole themselves, actually some may have already fallen in this"- She prophesized.

Kitutu was seen splashing Envelops containing cash while saying "This money was given to me by the president so I give it to you people"

What you need to know:

The same minister is said to have had an icy relationship with her junior, Hon Agness Nandutu who gave evidence against her to the parliamentary committee on presidential affairs which probed the mabaati saga.

In a dramatic turn of events, as she said, Nandutu is already committed for trial in the High Court while Kitutu remains in the lower court of the chief Magistrate after the junior minister was allegedly caught with 2000 pieces of iron sheets like other ministers named in the saga. Nandutu told the committee that it was important for Minister Kitutu to accept to carry her cross since she was the sector minister.
