Mbale: Robbers in Police Uniform rob Chinese national of 71m.

Police in Mbale are investigating how robbers in police uniforms robbed a Chinese national of 71 million Shillings.

 

According to police, the Chinese was working with Chinese Railway Sevens Group, which was awarded the contract for the Kufu- Magale railway.

 

Elgon Regional Police Spokesperson Rogers Taitika confirmed the robbery and said the robbers cut off the Chinese vehicle, took out the driver and continued with the Chinese man and eventually stole the bag containing the money.
