NETBALL PRESIDENT SARAH BABIRYE ARRESTED OVER ALARMING CORRUPTION SCANDALS AND MALICIOUS DEALINGS UNEARTHED

The President of the Uganda Netball Federation President, Sarah Babirye Kityo, former Treasurer Amina Nambusi Kibedi, and VP Technical Richard Muhumuza have been referred to CID  to take statements due to irregularities cited in accountability for money given to the federation.

According to PAC, Babirye's records as she served in office as leader of the netball federation show a lot of anomalies some of which include mismatched amounts in accountabilities provided, forgery in the documentation, and many more based on the interrogations conducted based on the Auditor generals queries.

Babirye has been at the center of soiling the Image of the National Council of Sports with a smearing campaign in which she and her allies attempted to use social media to tarnish the image of those in the council who had earlier on asked her to do her responsibility of accounting for funds provided by the council to her as per the law seems to have drowned in her movie more so after the netball athletes gave testimonies of how Babirye's husband attempted to rape and use them in the course of their games.

Before the meeting with PAC  in which Babirye and the above named were handed over to CID for further investigations, the Netball athletes afew weeks back made emotional Testimonies in a meeting  with the minister of Education Janet kataha Museveni of how the said president and the husband had for long used athletes for their personal gain,less of National gain,testimonies that left the high command members in the sporting ladder of this country frozen.

With Babirye's defence being totally contrary to what is on documentation and what was expected of her,shocking details have kept emerging with the recent confessions coming out from the 2021 South African championship seemingly unearthing what might turn out as the last blow to the motor mouthed former president after CID accomplishes its investigation. 

This only remains a piece of stone in aplethora of dirty  works that the embattled  federation head has been attempting to fight back to cover in an attempt to escape the systematic investigations that they saw forth coming.

Babirye joins the list of the Top Government officials that have of recent sweated plasma with the ironsheet saga that trended in the country.
