Bugisu Sub-Region has today the 10th of June 2023 endorsed President Yoweri Kaguta Museven for the 2026 general election.
The function was held from Mbale city, at cricket grounds, and was attended by several political heads including the national resistance movement women's league, Hon Ldia Wanyoto Mutende, Mbale district woman member of parliament, Hon. Miriam Mukhaye, Bulambuli Woman Member of, Hon. Iry Muloni, Emyoga National coordinator, Ritah Namuwenge and many others.
At exactly 2 pm, the procession matched from children lion's pack in escort of a Band, Kadodi and a music drive which proceeded to cricket grounds, via republic street, market street, and finally at the venue.
The procession which was led by the chief Muzukulu, Hajati Hadija Namyalo was received by Bugisu leaders, who included:- Hon. Lydia Wanyoto Mutende, Mr. Buyela Christopher, the ONC coordinator, Mbale District Woman member of parliament, Hon. Miriam Mukhaye, Emyooga National coordinator, Ritah Namuwenge and many others.
At the Venue, the head of ONC, Hajati Hadijah Namyalo, launched the 'JjaJJa Tava Ku Main campaign'', which endorses President Yoweri Museveni to run for the presidency in 2026.
She then handed over several pieces of equipment like;- Haier dryers, Sawing machines, Haier cutting Machines, etc to several groups in Bugisu.
