EMYOOGA National coordinator Contributes 1.7m to Moslem community in Mbale City on Eid Day.


Commonly known as "Mama Emyooga", Namuwenge Rita today 28th June 2023, joined Muslim community in praying Eid-Ul-Adha at Umar And Yumbe primary school playground in Mbale City.


Namuwenge contributed one million seven hundred thousand shilling (1.7) towards the organization of this process.



While speaking to the press after prayers, Namuwenge pledged to always directly take part in all Islam programs in Bugisu sub region.

"In the Islamic faith, Eid al-Aha is celebrated in
remembrance of Prophet Ibrahim’s act of faith and obedience to Allah. According to the Holy Scriptures, Allah was pleased with him, because he did not hesitate to sacrifice his son, Ismail, so lets always share with the poor whenever they need our help" - Namuwenge.

She further said that Prophet Ibrahim, teaches the believers that sacrifice is the cornerstone of religion.

This lesson should be made applicable to all aspects of life. It takes, for instance, sacrifice to build a stable and prosperous family. As you have seen, in Uganda, it took great sacrifice, for the patriots to restore peace and stability, in order to create an enabling environment for the development and socio-economic transformation of the country.
