On the 27th of June 2023, the alleged State house anti- corruption team ordered the demolition of a wall constructed on Natoli close, near vitus building located in Maluku Industrial City division in Mbale District.
It is alleged that State House anti-corruption unit claims the yet to be identified city Tycoon illegally constructed in the road.
It was also alleged that Mbale city physical planners received a bribe to divert the road to another location was not on the plan.
Spethataking to one of the family member name withheld, she claimed a group of yet to be identified officials want to grab this plot of land.
"Our mum has been a resident in this area since 1988, we have 2 plots of land, all our plots are well documented and we acquired it legally, what suppresses me is how state house can demolish our structures without any court order" she noted.
