Yesterday 23rd June 2023, at St. Balikuddembe commonly known as Owino market in kampala, the Kampala district woman Member of parliament, Hon. Shamim Malende donated thirty (30) pieces of iron sheets to masjid Al-Hidaaya to help re-roof the mosque.
The mosque went roofless after a recent heavy downpour that unroofed it.
While interacting with venders and residents of the Kisenyi, they complained to her about flooding, illegal eviction from places of work, high taxation.
Mp Malende promised to table this issue on the floor of parliament as a matter of national importance as soon as she gets back to the august house.
