Trouble: Supreme Court judge to be Buried in Cemetery as Neutral ground.


Drama as two (2) families Fight for Body of Supreme Court judge.


Departed Supreme Court Lady Justice Stella Arach- Amoko will not be buried at her husband’s home in Adjumani district  neither her ancestral place in Nebbi district.


This follows a fight between the husband Adule Amako and his in-laws over who should bury the deceased.



Following the clash, Judiciary was forced to postpone the burial for the families to sort out the matter.


Each family appointed a lawyer to conduct mediation on its behalf.


Hon Raphael Baku represented Mr Adule while Martiall Alenyo represented the Nebbi family with Francis as chief mediator.


The three parties have Friday agreed the Lady Justice be laid to rest at Arua Catholic Cathedral Cemetery as a neutral ground.


Both representatives will inform each family.


It remains unknown if the families will accept the outcome.
