"All city Divisions should embrace Smart city program"- ED Kisaka as she commemorated World Environment Day In Rubaga.

Today 5th June 2023, is World Environment Day and the main celebrations were held  from Kololo ceremonial grounds whereas the kampala capital city Authority  (KCCA) Executive Director, Dr. Dorothy Kisaka, joined the residents of Lubaga in a community clean-up.

The exercise was led by Nabugabo Updeal Venture, one of the powerful private cleaning company in Kampala.   

The event was also attended by Rubaga Mayor, his worship Mberaze Zacky,  Hajji Kittata NRM chairperson Rubaga and the Rubaga Town Clerk John Bosco Bashinyora. 

While speaking to the congregation, ED Kisaka called upon all leaders in Rubagaga division in order to keep Kampala city clean.

She further assured all KCCA supporting staff that their salaries are being worked on.

"I know many of you are complaining of sallaries, i want to assure you that as KCCA, we are trying our best to see that money if put in accounts" - ED -Kisska.   

Nabugabo Updeal distributed cleaning tools  to the residents in a bid to champion the Smart City Agenda.
