BREAKING: UPC'S Dr. Eunice Apio Otuko Wins the Oyam North By-Elections.

Dr. Eunice Apio Otuko, the Uganda People's Congress (UPC) flagbearer, has been declared the winner of the just-concluded Oyam North by-election. 

Dr. Eunice Apio Otuko managed to score 15718 Votes, followed by National Resistance movement candidate, Engola Okello Samuel with 15161 votes, in third position was Forum for democratic party candidate, Okello Newton Freddy who scored 714 votes, in fourth position was the National Unity platform candidate, Okello Daniel with 403 votes.

The Oyam North seat fell vacant following the death of Col. Charles Engola who was gunned down by his bodyguard.
