News on our desk has it that a prominent businessman in Ssemuto town, Nakaseke District, who has only been identified as Luwaga has been shot dead by unknown assailants.

"What we know So far… - Luwaga John a businessman & Land dealer in Ssemuto, was shot dead at 11:00pm on Saturday. - The assailants used his own car (Toyota Wish) to flee. - The car has been intercepted from Namaliga, Bombo as assailants maneuver through the villages to flee. - Among the occupants in the car is a UPDF soldier. - The suspected killer gun has been recovered from the same car. - Police has not yet issued an official statement"- Journalist Culton Scovia Nakamya.
