KCCA Roads construction is promising.

Kampala city council Authority Executive director Dorothy Kisaka's first term ends as the multi-billion dollar roads project gets underway. 

The industrial area roads are under reconstruction as well as the Portbell roads. 

Under the Junction improvement project, work is ongoing at Nakawa, Katalima and Spear Junctions, #ForABetterCity. Significant design changes will be made on these and 24 other junctions around

For the last six months, KCCA has been under fire for the bad roads in the city, but now there are significant ongoing works.

We are not sure whether President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni will returns her as the Executive Director of KCCA , But according to the accounting officers in KCCA, Kisaka's City Hall tenure has suffered great under funding and late releases for development works. 

Kisaka was appointed to the coveted position by the president in July 2020, together with others. As the three-year tenure expires,  President Museveni is expected to renew the appointment based on his judgement on performance.

Kisaka is the second person to spearhead the city's technical wing in a substantive capacity. However, she took over during the Covid-19 lockdown time and has been beset by numerous challenges, including low funding.
