Judith Nambuya, a woman councillor in Busoba sub-County in Mbale has dragged the Mbale District Health Officer (DHO), Dr Wangisi Johnathan to the Director of criminal investigation directorate (CID) Kampala accusing him of involving himself in politics.

In her letter addressed to CID, Councillor Judith Nambuya has outlined several issues including accusing the DHO of fueling and pushing for the transfer of Mbale School for the deaf headteacher, Sister Rose Nelima.

It should be noted that Dr wangisi is the husband of the Woman Member of Parliament Mbale District, Hon. Miriam Mukhaye Wangisi.
How it started:
According to Judith Nambuya, early this month, Dr wangisi together with his wife Hon. Mukhaye Miriam held a meeting at light hour gardens aiming at bribing Busoba residents to accept the transfer of the current head teacher, Sister Rose Nelima.
Judith has also accused Dr wangisi for involving himself in cheap politics yet he is a civil servant.

Mbale School for the Deaf has been having wrangles over the transfer of the head teacher. According to our reporter, Musamali Arnold, several commissioners in the ministry of education and public service have attempted to push for the transfer of the current head teacher sister Rose Nelima but all in vain.
It has been established that this school is the most funded school in Mbale, which has attracted several head teachers bidding for it. It is also alleged that several Headteachers have sold off their properties to pay off commissioners, to be appointed as head teachers at this school, in case the current head teacher is transferred.
Mbale school of the deaf has both the deaf and non deaf students with a vocational wing inclusive.
