Bobi Wine Puts Mbarara City on Standstill - Edigityo Radio Switched Off By UCC.



National Unity Platform (NUP) Party President Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine is in Mbarara to open NUP offices along Markhan Singh street and there after address a rally at Global high School grounds in Mbarara City South Division.




He arrived at around 11am to catch-up with a radio talk show on Endigyito FM Radio at 12pm, the radio was switched off by Uganda Communication commission (UCC) as soon as Bobi wine stated speaking.



Police cleared the road for him but when he entered the radio studios at midday, the radio frequency wen silent.
"I wanted to listen to Bobi on Radio but when I tuned in, there was no sound coming which means it has been switched off," Mr Katusiime Moses, a boda boda rider said.



Bobi wine decided to continue with the show via online platforms, i.e. Facebook YouTube and twitter space.




Before heading to Global high School grounds in Mbarara City for a political rally, Bobi wine first officially opened NUP offices on Markhan Singh street in Mbarara City.


According to the program, He will tomorrow be heading to fort portal.
