Butiru Voters vow to retain Wakooli Godfrey in 2026-2031.

Butiru County  voters have vowed to retain Hon Wakooli Godfrey as their Mp in 2026/ 2031 General Elections.

The voters made the vow on Saturday 19th, August 19,2023, during the research conducted by Our investigative Journalist, Arnold Musamali in About four (4) sub-counties in the constituency, where the research revealed that the voters are satisfied with Hon Wakooli's Performance in office.

Most of the voters said that he has been a strong Advocate for the interests of Youths, mother's & women ,an advocate supporter of the Gender equality.       

 

Wakoli has spoken five (5) times in parliament in year 2021-2023 seating. 

He is also serving his first term in parliament after massively winning the 2021 elections.

Wakooli  seats on Committee of defence and internal affairs where he has made lot of contributions.

It has also been established that he performs better on ground in his constituency, he has supported the youth by offering boda boda loans at a no interest rate. 

He has also funded several village SACCOs in most villages in Butiru.
