ED Kisaka Highlights The Role Of KCCA In The Implementation Of The NRM Manifesto In Four Areas During The Kyankwanzi Retreat.



KCCA has been well represented at the Kyankwanzi retreat that brought together leaders from the central division. The RCC and deputies, the NRM chairpersons, the KCCA Executive Director, the divisions Town Clerks and KCCA head of strategy were all there.


Kisaka highlighted the role of KCCA in the implementation of the NRM manifesto in four areas; infrastructure development, roads and drainages, construction and management of markets  revenue mobilisation and social economic empowerment. 


Under World Bank project KIIDP2, 28 junctions have been completed. These include Nateete, Nakawa, Wandegeya, Lugogo bypass, Kira road and Bwaise Mambule. 51Km of roads are completed and 13 traffic junctions completed.



Revenue collection have been boosted by 16% with a collection of UGX104B in the last financial year. 650Km of paved roads have been maintained. 


KCCA has completed the following, duaĺling John Babiha Road, reconstruction of Nakawa Ntinda Road, tarmacking Kulambiro Ring road and Kabuusu- Bunamuwaya road
