Over 211 pieces - Karamoja iron sheets recovered from a house in Entebbe.

Entebbe police have cordoned off a home in Nkumba Bulufulu Katabi Town Council after discovering over 211 iron sheets hidden inside, believed to be from the Office of the office of the Prime Minister (OPM).

The iron sheets, which were in the process of being repainted red, are reportedly intended for vulnerable people in Karamoja.

Police are actively seeking the homeowner, who is currently evading authorities.

Sources show that police has also arrested a driver of an Isuzu Elfu which was being used to transport out Iron sheets to unknown destination.

It should be noted that three ministers are battling with anti corruption court for diverting over 70,000 pieces of iron sheets.

The ministers include Hon. Mary Gorreti Kitutu, minister of Karamoja affairs, Hon. Agenes Nandutu , state minister Karamoja affairs and Minister Amos Lugolobi.
