Joshua Cheptegei of Uganda has today set another record after winning the 10000m world title at the Budapest World Athletics Championships in a time of 27 minutes and 51.42 seconds in Hungary.
Chaptegegei becomes the 4th man in history do 3 straight 25-lap world titles.
This record is Uganda’s 1st medal at Budapest 2023.
Rogers Kibet finished 22nd, Joel Ayeko didn’t finish the race.
