"Yes! Bobi Wine Wrote To Us But We've Not Yet Approved His Countrywide Tour" - Police.

Uganda police have confirmed to have received a document from the National Unity Platform notifying them about its forthcoming Nationwide activities starting next week.

Though they've claimed not to have approved any of Hon. Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu aka Bobi Wine's Movements. 

"Yes we received later alerting us on Bobi Wine's Countrywide Movements but we've not yet granted him permission" - Fred Enanga, the police spokesperson noted. 

What You Need to Know:

The National Unity Platform (NUP) President Hon. Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu commonly known as Bobi Wine yesterday 23rd August 2023 declared a countrywide tour starting next week 28th August 2023, this will also include the opening of New offices in all regions.

This was disclosed during a press conference which was held at the NUP headquarters in Kamyokya.
