Speaker Among Sends Parliament To Total Recess.

The speaker of parliament of Uganda, Rt. Hon. Anita Annet Among has today the 7th of September 2023 sent the November house to recess till September 28th 2023.

"At the end of today’s Sitting, we will go on recess until 28th September 2023"- Speaker Among.

Unlike previous recess periods where some Committees continued to transact business, this time round the speaker has revealed that this recess will be an absolute one.

"I expect all MPs to head to their constituencies to monitor the implementation of Government Programmes" - Among.
