Educationists in Mbale asked to respect posting and transfer instructions.

Staffs under Education department have been asked to always honor transfer and posting instructions at all times.

The call was made by Khaukha Padde the Mbale District Inspector of Schools while overseeing the handover and takeover of headteacher at Busiu Secondary School on Wednesday afternoon.

Former head teacher of Busiu SS, Mr. Musingo Peter handed over to the new Headmaster Dismas Wandulu formerly at Namawanga SS.

Musingo was transferred to the embattled School of Deaf in Busoba.

According to Padde, most teachers and headteachers tend to decline and frustrate transfers which he says affects the smooth running of academic institutions.

He explains that transfers in service are normal adding that civil servants are supposed to work everywhere and should be willing for transfers.

Dismas Wandulu promised to uphold the legacy set by former Headmaster Musingo.

Wandulu also pledged to promote teamwork and maintain academic excellence.

Busiu Secondary School was established in 1983 under Church of Uganda as the foundation body and currently with over 1500 students.
