Fresh land saga: Ham's Brother Haruna fences off Lake Victoria shores in an attempt to grab Shamim's Land.

Tycoon Huruna Ssentongo is on the spot for attempting to grab land in Munyonyo. 

It has been established that the land fenced belongs to Shamim Awaali Namusisi, the female youth lord councilor for KCCA, who happens to be a wife to Maska City RCC Hood Hussein. 

Haruna is a brother to City Businessman, Hamis Kiggumdu, comonly known as Ham who is also battling cases of grabbing land on Lake Victoria shores.

New findings indicate that Huruna has land titles on land located in Lake Victoria. 

What You Need to Know. 

Last year, Haruna approached Shamim and showed interest in buying Shamim's Land.

According to Shamim, she was not willing to sell off his land not till when Haruna bypassed the deal to Hood Hussein, Shamim's husband.

In 2022, at Fairway Hotel in Kampala, Haruna met with Hood and Shamim, during this meeting, Shimim revealed that he would give him the plot of land at Three hundred million shillings (300), unfortunately, Haruna had only 30 million cash on him. 

Shamim claims that she rejected the Thirty Million shillings and walked away, leaving Haruna and Hood still stranded. 

After a few hours, Haruna also left the venue and abandoned the 30m, he claims that the 30m was just a commitment.

According to Hood Hussein, he took the 30m to their home and kept it since the three had no written agreement. 

After, a couple of months, Haruna asked to meet Shamim and Hood, on meeting with them, Haruna picked a bag that had one hundred million and wanted to pay it to Shamim, Shamim rejected the money telling him that unless he offered the 300m cash money, he won't be sold the plot of land he is interested in. 

Haruna got pieced up and drove away, the next day, Shamim called Haruna and told him to collect his 30m commitment fee since she was no longer interested in selling off her land anymore. 

Shamim alleges that Haruna deliberately refused to collect the money and opted to use force, threats, and impunity to grab the plot of land. 

It was later discovered that Haruna had acquired a plot of land next to that of Shamim, but unfortunately, this plot of land is in Lake Victoria.

On Thursday last week, Haruna went and forcefully fenced off the land including the shores of the Lake under the watch of the Uganda Police.
