Makerere University students from Rakai district have stormed Parliament to protest & express their dissatisfaction over the alleged abusive remarks made by Hon. Francis Zaake, the Mityana Municipality member of parliament against their MPs, Hon. Juliet Kinyamatama & Hon.  Javira Ssemwanga of  Buyamba County during his recent visit in Rakai district.

What You Need to Know:

Recently, Mityana Municipality Member of Parliament, Francis Zaake Butebi called President Yoweri Museveni a “rotten old man full of illnesses &undergoing degeneration."

Zaake was speaking in Lwamagwa sub-county, Buyamba Constituency, Rakai District as he canvassed support for the opposition National Unity Platform.

He also said that Buyamba County MP Gyaviira Ssemwanga is the most useless Member of the 11th Parliament, “destructing serious business in the house since he over gasses.”

Zaake who was accompanied by several NUP foot soldiers also called the Rakai Woman MP Juliet Suubi Kinyamatama a prostitute who adds no value to the people of Rakai and Parliament in General.

“Don’t you see that whoever goes to him (Museveni) first undergoes a COVID test? He has all illnesses. You people do not even have MPs here. They do nothing save for sweating in the chairs at Parliament.” He said.

Zaake added; “We also have this Nalumansi (Kinyamatama), as if she went to Parliament for prostitution. She is wicked. For they have rendered Parliament useless. We expect you to send better MPs than these,” Zaake concluded.

Well as Zaake’s deliberations left many of the people chanting, a number of those within Rakai District wondered why Zaake doesn’t respect fellow leaders at the same and more less a higher level.

Raymond Kimbowa, a resident in the area told with website that such politics is reckless and undeserved for a rural population that desires moral fiber.

The MP was last year ousted as a commissioner of Parliament after allegedly abusing the Speaker of Parliament, Annet Anita Among.
