Speaker Among takes leave as parliament returns today from recces.

Speaker of Parliament Rt Hon Anita Among takes Leave of office as Deputy speaker Rt Hon Thomas Tayebwa takes charge.

In a letter dated 18th September 2023 addressed to the President of Uganda Yoweri kaguta Museveni from the Speaker 

Reads : "on the 7th September 2023,l adjourned the House sine die,effectively sending members of Parliament monitor the implementation of Government Programmes in furtherance of their representative role as enshrined in Article 78 of the 1995 constitution,l will subsequently be out of office in my absence,the deputy speaker will handle my schedules - Speaker Rt Hon Anita Among.
