BCU Chairman Nandala Pays a Visit to Former Chair Elder Musundi Enoch.

Nathan Nandala Mafabi, the current chairman of the Bugisu Cooperative Union (BCU), recently made a heartfelt visit to the home of former President of Bugisu Cooperative Union Enoch Musundi in Magale town council, Namisindwa district.

Musundi, who led BCU for an impressive 18 years from 1964 to 1982, has been battling illness for the past few months.

During his visit, Nandala expressed his unwavering support for Musundi and his family, assuring them that BCU will continue to stand by their side.

In a gesture of goodwill, Nandala also pledged to provide 10 million in crop finance to the Nambwa Growers Cooperative Society.

This financial assistance will enable them to purchase coffee and supply it to the union, further strengthening the cooperative's operations.

Musundi, now 90 years old, commended Nandala for his dedication to upholding the legacy of the union.

He urged Nandala to protect the union's properties with utmost care, emphasizing the importance of preserving the organization's assets for future generations.

This visit not only highlights the deep respect and admiration that Nandala holds for his predecessor but also underscores his commitment to the cooperative's members and their families.

Nandala's actions demonstrate his determination to continue the BCU's mission of supporting and empowering the Bugisu community.
