"BCU To Pay Farmers This Week"- Nandala Mafabi Confirms.

Bugisu Cooperative Union (BCU) has released a schedule for the payment of farmers who have submitted coffee and are still awaiting payment from the union. The announcement was made by Board Chairman Nathan Nandala Mafabi during a radio talkshow last weekend.
Nandala, who is also the Budadiri West MP, cautioned staff and fellow board members against engaging in any form of influence peddling, emphasizing that payments will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis.

He further disclosed that a tentative program will be provided to farmers, outlining the specific days on which they can expect to receive their payments.

In addition to the payment schedule, Nandala also revealed that the union will be covering scholarship fees for selected beneficiaries. This initiative aims to support the educational aspirations of deserving individuals within the farming community.

Musila John, a board member representing the lwakhakha zone, encouraged farmers to continue relying on the union for their agricultural needs in the upcoming season.

He assured them that the union is fully prepared to serve them diligently and provide the necessary support for their farming endeavors.
