Embattled Zaake pleads with Parliament official to open for him his Commissioner office

Parliament has up to now refused to allow Mityana Municipality MP Francis Zaake back into office as a Parliamentary Commissioner, five weeks after the Constitutional Court ordered his reinstatement.

According to Zaake, he claims that this is being done deliberately.

"My lawyers last week wrote another letter to Parliament asking it to re-open the office previously assigned to me as a Commissioner of Parliament, in partial compliance with the recent judgment of the Constitutional Court"- Zaake said.

When I went there today morning to resume my duties, they informed me that Parliament is not ready to abide by the Court's decision. In blatant contempt of the Court Order, through a letter back-dated to March, they have instead advised me to take up some other space outside the building!

If Parliament does not respect the very laws it enacts, who should?"-Zzake

He further vowed to expose Parliament if they don't open his off in 24Hours.
