Just In: Speaker Among directs Government to present a statement on missing persons tomorrow.

 

UPDATE: The Speaker of Parliament of Uganda, Rt. Hon. Anita Among has directed government of Uganda to present a statement on the missing persons tomorrow.

"I want to request Gen. Jim Muhwezi, the Minister of Security to table a statement responding to the issues of human rights violations raised by the Opposition, after the time requested by the Executive within which to respond,expired." - Among.

3rd Deputy Prime Minister Rukia Nakadama has confirmed that the statement will be presented tomorrow as directed.
