ONC’s Hadijah Namyalo empowers ghetto youths in Kamwokya

The Head of the Office of the National Chairman (ONC) Hajjat Hadijah Uzeiye Namyalo has called upon the youths across the country to keep togetherness and embrace the youth empowerment and community development projects if they’re to overcome poverty.

Namyalo revealed this yesterday while delivering support inform of Salon driers, shaving machines, popcorn machines, Tayloring machines, food among others to different groups of people at TLC centre in kamwokya.

“i want the residents of kamwokya to be our witnesses in this project because there rumours circulating that we give you these things, and later we remove them from you. Their main objectives are to discourage you from overcoming poverty, so we’re going to work together so that we overcome such bad people.” Said Hadijah

She also urged young girls and women to safe guard themselves from men who have hidden agendas, adding that this could endanger their lives.

“women please preserve yourselves from these men because they’re very many in this world and in addition the disease is there, you will end up disturbing your people for medical bills. We’re are going to lobby for you so that you get what to do.” She said

She further urged the youths in Kamwokya to stop drug addictions and get themselves into useful things that can change their well being.

Some of the beneficiaries especially youths who received the equipments thanked H.E the president of Uganda Yoweri Kaguta Museveni for the support rendered to them.

At the event Hadijah also pumped UGX 1 Million into the Sacco of Kamwokya NRM Voice Army where she said that, she will continue monitoring its progress.

In the same vein, she also urged the ghetto youths to embrace other government development programs like the Parish Development model, hence urging them to use the fund productively.
