Cristian Life Ministry Hosts Over 100 Pastors To Pray For Uganda, Pr. Ssenyonga Lauds M7 For Good Leadership.

Christian Life  Ministry hosts over 100 pastors to pray for Uganda, Ssenyonga Laud President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni For Good leadership and Governance.

Pastors and religious leaders from across the country converged at Christian Life Ministries in Bwaise for Uganda as the year 2023 concludes. The Men of God came from Ankole, Kigezi, Rwenzori, Lango, Acholi, and Busoga sub-regions.

The national prayers were held under the theme The Roles of Religious Leaders in Uniting the Community. According to Pastor Jackson Ssenyonga, the host, the prayer meeting was aimed at calling Christians to revive their faith in God through Jesus Christ.

“Let us repent and God will bless our country, which is blessed with natural resources, good environment, fertile land, food, and others,” Pastor Ssenyonga said. Adding: “If we do not ask God to forgive us and revive us spiritually, we shall see more calamities as it happens in other countries.”

Bishop Thomas Byamugisha, the overseer of Makindye-Sabagabo Church, and other Pastors praised President Yoweri Museveni for upholding Uganda’s values.

It is because of his braveness to uphold Uganda’s values that many countries and organizations including the World Bank, are threatening to suspend their support to the country,” Byamugisha said.

Pastor Ssenyonga in a message to Ugandans encouraged them to pay taxes as it is the only way government will provide services to them.

Uganda largely operates a donor-funded national budget. This leaves the country at the mercy of the development partners who are increasingly attaching their funding to vices like homosexuality.
