"Eat Your Homosexuality Money Well, Stop Accusing MP's On A Bribe 100m Each To Pass The Budgets" - Speaker to opposition.

The Speaker of Parliament, Rt. Hon. Nalongo Anitah Among  has attacked the Opposition leaders who alleged that each Member of Parliament we're bribed with Shs100M to pass the Shs3.5Trn supplementary budget.

The speaker while chairing the August house today,  said the opposition are trying to cover up for receiving money from homosexuals & warned them against dragging Parliament into selling their country to gays.

"If you are covering your dirt on homosexuality, you are getting money on homosexuality and you are covering all that, don’t use this House to cover it. Don’t use Parliament to cover that, eat your money of bum shafters, you can’t say we are bribing you, bribing you for what? We are here working for our people, for us, we are here to do work, we are people centred Parliament," said Among.

Yesterday, while addressing the press at the national Unity platform headquarters in Makerere, Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu, the NUP party president accused Members of Parliament for accepting a bribe to pass the supplementary Budget.

Kyagulanyi also revealed that majority of NUP affiliated Members of Parliament had received the 100m on their accounts.

This was confirmed by Muwanga Kivumbi, the Member of Parliament, representing the people of Butbala.

Kivumbi alleged that members of Parliament had been credited on there salary accounts with 100m for passing the supplementary budget.

Ignatius Mudimi, Vice Chairperson, Parliament's Budget Committee denied allegations of bribery of MPs and asked Speaker to ensure that the people behind these rumours are held accountable because MPs are being harassed by their voters back home who are demanding for their share who are said to be asking for Christmas money.

"I have a supplementary schedule laid by Ministry of Finance and it doesn’t have parliamentary commission. The person who said should come here and tell us because my people are calling saying when are you coming, keep something for us for Christmas," said Mudimi.
