"National Prayer Day has Reduced crimes Ever Since We Started" - Bishop Kiganda As He Unveils 31st Prayer Program.

The lead pastor of Christian Focus Center, Kisenyi in Rubaga Division, Kampala, Bishop David Kiganda has unveiled the prayer program for the 31st December.

The National prayers dy will  be held at old kampala Secondary School grounds. The prayers will go through the day and night with local and international preachers, gospel musicians and fireworks. Led by Bishop Kiganda.

While briefing the media today morning at old kampala SS grounds, Bishop Kiganda who was in a  company with the security heads in Police said that they will pray for the sick and those with other issues in addition to anointing people so that they are blessed for the New Year.

The Bishop also revealed that ever since they started holding such night prayers as the nation crosses to new year, crime rates have reduced.

"people used to jubilate crossing new year while drinking in bars, burning objects, fighting  each other, but ever since we put up such programs, the crime rates have dropped. This is because a good number of citizens are now turning back to God"-Kiganda.

Bishop Kiganda further said the best way to start the New Year is by presenting and dedicating yourself to God and your issues, asks Him for the blessings and to forge forward for you a better a year.in addition to thanking him for protection, provision, life, energy and prosperity as opposed to engaging in sinful acts.

He emphasized that through prayers, creativity and innovation 2024 is going to be a year of solidifying the believers with full of fruitfulness, productivity and increase.

“By taking root downward, God wants you to solidify your feet. He wants you to stand strong, to believe that 2024 you will be unshakeable and even if you are shaken you won’t be pulled out. That whatever God is going to do in your life will be strong. Your job, income, business, career will be strengthened that those that may want to take you out of your employment, marriage or anything they will find it hard to pull you out.” Said Bishop Kiganda.

He added “bearing fruits upwards means you will have something to show in 2024, after everything is said and done, people, circumstances, conditions, systems will not uproot you from where you’re supposed to be since you will be centered in the will of God but on the outside where people see, you will see nothing but fruits.

God is calling us to be productive in 2024, every Ugandan must produce fruits. No single Ugandan should be lazy, unemployment on the basis of blaming the weather, government and witches, no, go find a job in 2024 because God wants you to bear fruits. You should bear fruits for your children, at your employment and have huge deliverables in any sector.

It’s a year of work, not just being busy but being fruitful. So the prayers we are going to have here is that God will help those who will congregate here with us for December 31st so that the Lord will give them fruitfulness, productivity, increase, good income and step up the creativity and innovation to another level on how to break the backbone of poverty in your life, families, communities, in the nation in addition to being solidified and stable.”

Bishop Kiganda also applauded the security bodies and praised President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni and his government for providing the country with stability, peace, security and infrastructure which is a good start for the public to get themselves out of poverty if they stop being comfort and think about how they can get out of the predicament which will happen by being innovative.

He further urged the public in 2024 to avoid violence, corruption, divisionism of tribes and other different things, high corruption which is eating away the country by derailing the country backward. And instead strive to join the church, state and the public to make sure Uganda is better a place.
