Over 200 villagers arrested from different bar outlets in Mbale District as police enforces Christmas curfew.

 



Police In Mbale District last night at approximately 11pm conducted an operation where more that 200 villagers were whisked away from different bars.

It has been alleged that security was enforcing Christmas curfew time.

The arrested villagers were picked from Green bar In khatwelatwela, Crown bar Nabumali town council, Big spender Mile 6, and others from malwa spots in Bungokho Central, Mbale District. 

According to our sources, the arrested villagers have been taken to Nalondo, pending to appear before court. 

By the time we filed this story , the regional police had  not yet issued an official statement in regards with the operation.
