A Section Of Voters Vow To Vote Out Bugiri District Woman MP Taaka In 2026, Abenakyo Joins The Race In Early Campaigns.

A group of locals in Bugiri District have vowed to vote out Hon. Taaka Marry as their Woman Member of Parliament in 2026 over poor service delivery and feeding them on empty lies.

In a one-on-one with our reporter in the Busoga region, the voters claimed the legislator hadn't done enough in terms of service delivery.

"We had enough hopes in Taaka, but for two terms, she hasn't performed to the expectations. Our roads are so poor, poverty is the order of the day, she has not fulfilled her obligations and promises to us" - locals.

Another group of youths proclaimed to support a youthful candidate, whom they claimed that she understood them.
"Lucky enough, we've got a new young lady who has shown interest in running for this seat in 2026, we are all going to mobilize the youths to vote for her.

Asked about the youthful candidate"- a group of youths.
