 Uganda’s First Lady and Education Minister, Hon Janet Kataha Museveni has today (Thursday) released the results for 2023 Primary Leaving Examinations.



As it has been in the previous results releases, the Minister of Education, Mrs Museveni will officially release the results at a function held at State House Nakasero, starting at 11 am.

According to UNEB, A total of 749,254 candidates from 15,859 centers (schools) registered for PLE in 2023 compared to 832,654 in 2022. Of this number, 501,602 (66.9%) from 11,365 centers were Universal Primary Education (UPE) beneficiaries, and 247,652 (33.1) of the candidates were non UPE.
