Hundreds Of FDC Members Gather At Soroti public Gardens To Receive Late Cecilia Ogwal's Body.

 

Yesterday evening, the people of Teso bid a final farewell to the late Hon. Cecilia Atim Ogwal Barbara, former Dokolo District Woman MP. 

Hundreds gathered at Soroti public gardens to receive her cortege. 

FDC Party President, Hon. Eng. Patrick Oboi, led leaders in eulogizing expressing gratitude to Hon. Cecilia's family for bringing her body to Soroti, where she conducted business and played a significant role in politics, inspiring many in leadership.

Eng. Amuriat praised the late Hon. Cecilia for her dedicated fight against corruption. 

Other leaders present were, Hon. Alobo Joan Achom, Soroti City Woman MP, Hon. Attan Moses Okia, former Soroti East MP, and FDC Deputy Treasurer General, Hon. Paul Omer, Soroti City East Division Mayor, Hon. Rodha Achen, former Amuria District Woman MP, and others.

Currently, Hon. Cecilia Ogwal's body rests at Dokolo Technical Institute, where District Local Governments from Lango Subregion gather for a special regional Districts council to pay tribute.
