Medic Abenakyo To Launch A Foundation In Bugiri, Aiming At Serving Humanity.

Abenakyo Foundation is expected to be launched mid-this year in Bugiri District, According to sources the foundation is aiming at supporting the girl child, Orphans, and the disabled & boosting institutions to empower the youths among others. 

According to Abenakyo Joanita, the CEO of Abenakyo Foundation, this is a non-government organization that is about to kick start it is services of serving Humanity in the community.

"We are in the final stages of legalization of the Foundation, and hopefully, by this year all will be ready" - Abenakyo noted. 

She further said that the foundation is nonpartisan, though many people most especially those who are scared of her political career have attempted to block the registration process.

"I don't know why our Politicians hate development in our communities, this foundation's goals are to elevate our people from poverty at the household level"- Abenakyo. 

Abenakyo also told our reporter that the main focus of the foundation is helping the orphans and the girl child receive the best Education.

"I was born in Busoga and raised in Busoga, Bugiri in particular, I've seen what our orphans go through, I've seen how young girls surfer after early pregnancies, therefore I want to be that lady who can change one's life" - Abenakyo. 

Besides being a Medic, indicators show that Abenakyo is eying the seat of Bugiri woman Member of Parliament in 2026.
