NUP Shadow Cabinet irked by Ssenyonyi's Leadership Style, Shun his today's meeting.

This morning, members of the National Unity Platform (NUP) cabinet publicly criticized their new leader, Joel Ssenyonyi, citing concerns about his approach to party matters and parliamentary business. Ssenyonyi's planned press conference for 11AM was postponed until 1PM due to significant disagreements within the shadow cabinet.

Critics within the shadow cabinet labeled Ssenyonyi as an "excited young man," prone to making rash decisions without considering the party's repercussions. Speaking anonymously, one MP expressed frustration, stating, "He jumps on everyone before verifying or thinking about the consequences for our young party."

Another MP, also preferring anonymity, raised concerns about Ssenyonyi's handling of party affairs, particularly following the Mpuuga Incident, which strained party relations. The MP lamented that Ssenyonyi's methods were deepening existing divisions within the party, further complicating an already delicate situation.
