Here Is A Video- 7 Uncles In Kibuku Arrested For Assaulting Their Niece Who Went To Church For Prayers Instead Of A Mosque

STATEMENT ON VIRAL VIDEO OF ASSAULT IN KIBUKU DISTRICT 

Following a viral video depicting the assault of NAULA SHAKIRA, an 18-year-old resident of Bwase 1 village, Bugolya Parish, Kadama sub-county, Kibuku district, the Kibuku district police have rescued the victim and arrested the perpetrators directly involved in this heinous act. 

This incident occurred after Shakira, who is known to be Muslim, attended a fellowship at the Kibuku Prayer Convention Church, led by Pastor Kitibwa Nichola, a 38-year-old resident of Kadama town council in Kibuku district.

Around 20:30hrs on Monday 22/04/2024, the Kibuku security team, led by the RDC and accompanied by the DPC, rushed to the scene at Bwase 1 village, Bugolya Parish, Kadama sub-county, Kibuku district.

During the operation, seven suspects were arrested to assist in the investigation.

The arrested suspects are

Higenyi Jaberi, 50 years old, resident of Bwase Nabunyere Parish, Kadama sub-county, Kibuku district, maternal uncle.

Nantege Yusufu, 28 years old, resident of Bwase, Bugolya Parish, Kadama sub-county, Kibuku district, maternal uncle.

Wapesa Muhammad, 24 years old, same address, maternal uncle.

Lumans Jaberi, 25 years old, same address, maternal uncle.

Koosu Uthuman, 25 years old, same address, maternal uncle.

Wasereye Issa, 24 years old, same address, maternal uncle.

Musenero Ziyadi, 29 years old, same address, aunt.

All suspects are detained at Kibuku police station as the investigation into the matter is ongoing.

It has also been established that the victim lives with her aunt, Musenero Ziyadi, who is also a suspect because her biological mother is currently away in Saudi Arabia for work. 

The whereabouts of her father are not yet known.
